Hybrid air-conditioning technology wins another award
Mitsubishi Electric pick up another industry award for its innovative Hybrid VRF system
Mitsubishi Electric’s Hybrid VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) receives yet more recognition from the air-conditioning, ventilation and heating industry, as it picks up another award at the HVR Awards 2016.
The innovative Hybrid VRF system is the latest advancement in air-conditioning technology. It offers simultaneous heating and cooling and is equipped with state-of-the-art heat recovery technology. The two-pipe system offers unrivalled performance and energy efficiency.
The engineers overseeing the construction of the latest hotel to be built in Birmingham have recently announced they are to install Mitsubishi Electric’s Hybrid VRF system into the new hotel.
The hybrid system eliminates the need for leak detectors in each individual room and offers the ultimate experience in efficiency and comfort, allowing central control of the system and individual unit control.
Mitsubishi Electric continues to bask in the glory which has accompanied the Japanese firm since the release of its Hybrid VRF technology, which has just recently won its second award in two months.
The unique system was named the Commercial Air Conditioning Product of the Year at the HVR Awards 2016, held on October 27 at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel. This follows on from September when the product received the Air Conditioning Product of the Year award at the RAC Cooling Industry Awards.
Mark Grayston, of Mitsubishi Electric, said: “We know that Hybrid VRF can future-proof projects and remove the need for leak detection so it is hugely gratifying to get this industry recognition”
He added: “We are now seeing the system being installed in projects as diverse as offices, hotels, retail and accommodation as more people realise how it can combine simultaneous heating and cooling with the comfort levels of traditional 4-pipe Chillers.”
With all this attention surrounding the Hybrid VRF, many industry figures will be expecting further recognition for the firm at the National ACR & Heat Pump Awards to be held in Birmingham in January next year.
