HVR Awards 2016 now open for entry

Heating and Ventilation Review Awards 2016 to be held in London in October

The Heating and Ventilation Review Awards 2016 are now open for entry as the event is set to return to the spectacular 5* Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London later this year.

The awards are being hosted by the Heating and Ventilation Review (HVR) magazine which has promised a new and exciting category for this year’s event: Trainee of the Year.

HVR has said the ceremony is an important opportunity for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry to celebrate its achievements and successes, especially as a skills shortage within the industry is “reaching crisis proportions”.

Any HVAC trainees employed by a HVAC company can enter the Trainee of the Year award. The committed trainees who show signs of great potential and prove themselves to be the “rising stars” of the HVAC world, might just find themselves in the final. The winner will be decided by an online public vote.

All other entrants have until June 30 to apply and the winners will be chosen by a team of expert judges. The categories are:

  • Commercial Air Conditioning Product of the Year
  • Commercial Ventilation Product of the Year
  • Commercial Heating Product of the Year
  • Consultant of the Year
  • Contractor of the Year
  • Sustainable Product of the Year
  • Sustainable Project of the Year
  • Customer Service
  • Trainee of the Year

The HVR Awards 2016 have the support of a number of big name sponsors, including head sponsor The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), and Marflow Hydronics, Ambirad, Smith Brothers Stores, Reznor, and The ACR Show.
