LG announces on-site air conditioning training
New on-site training now available to LG air conditioning installers
The UK sector of the South Korean electronics company, LG Electronics, has announced the introduction of on-site air conditioning instruction, as it revamps its training programme.
The air conditioning manufacturer has recently celebrated the 6-month anniversary of its successful new LG Training Academy in Weybridge, Surrey, which was officially opened in October last year by UK president of LG, Mr Ki Kwon.
The LG Training Academy is equipped with the complete LG air conditioning and heating range, including its user interfaces. LG is a firm believer that its installers should experience the right balance between practical and theoretical training.
To coincide with the opening of the LG Training Academy, the manufacturer also introduced a new LG Si (Specialist installer) programme, aimed to encourage LG air conditioning installers to continue to learn and train in order to maintain a level of excellence within the HVAC sector.
Now, LG Electronics has launched a new flexible on-site training programme, stating that it understands how not all installers have the time and resources available to attend training days.
Installers and consultants can now apply for an LG engineer to come out to their premises to offer on-site and bespoke training.
Installers who successfully complete the LG manufacturer training programme will be fully certified and equipped to carry out ‘specifying, commissioning and troubleshooting’.
